# Add Runcrate's MCP server to yourself You are a coding agent. The person you work for asked you to connect Runcrate's MCP server, which lets you launch and manage GPU instances, volumes and jobs for them. The server is https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp (streamable HTTP). It signs in through the browser (OAuth) on first use, so there is no key to handle. ## Rules - Back up any config file before you change it (`.runcrate-backup`), and keep every other server and setting as it was. - Name the server `runcrate`. If one by that name exists, leave it and tell the person. ## Add it - **Claude Code:** run `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user runcrate https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp`. - **Codex:** run `codex mcp add runcrate --url https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp`; it starts the sign-in. `codex mcp login runcrate` signs in again later. - **Cursor:** merge `{"mcpServers": {"runcrate": {"url": "https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp"}}}` into `~/.cursor/mcp.json`. - **VS Code (Copilot agent mode):** run `code --add-mcp '{"name":"runcrate","type":"http","url":"https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp"}'`. - **OpenCode:** merge `{"mcp": {"runcrate": {"type": "remote", "url": "https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp", "enabled": true}}}` into `~/.config/opencode/opencode.json`. - **Any other agent:** add a remote MCP server named `runcrate` with the URL https://mcp.runcrate.ai/mcp (streamable HTTP) in your own MCP settings; if you cannot edit them, show the person where. ## Finish Tell the person what you added, that the first Runcrate tool call opens a browser sign-in, and to restart you if your agent needs that to load new servers. A first thing to ask: "Show me the GPU types I can launch and what they cost."
